7th Train the Foot Trainer (TtFT) Program- Chennai at the MV Diabetes Royapuram and Hyatt Regency, Chennai TTft (Train the Foot Trainer Program) has been done 6 times in South America, Africa, Europe, UAE & Western Pacific regions. The 7th Edition was done in Chennai by MV Diabetes under the leadership of Dr. Vijay Viswanathan for Indian doctors. Doctors from other countries like Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar also participated. Both faculty & delegates were from various countries apart from different parts of India.
The doctors were given an overview of how to manage Diabetic Foot in these 2 days. There were also sessions about Diabetes treatment and they visited the facilities in M V Hospital for Diabetes and also interacted with the experts around the world.
The 37th Edition of Prof. M. Viswanathan Gold Medal Oration Award (Citation & Gold Medal) was presented to Dr. Rodica Pop- Busui (President of American Diabetes Association). Also seen, Dr. Vijay Viswanathan, Dr. Jayashree Gopal (Associate Dean) & Dr. S. N. Narasingan (Dean)
Dr. Shashank Joshi, Diabetologist & Endocrinologist, Mumbai being presented with Prof. M Viswanathan Honour Award - 2023.
